I was able to enact a follow-up math lesson that worked on the same concept- change unknown subtraction problems. I used what I learned from my Term III lesson to plan my follow-up lesson. Specifically, I modeled both types of problems yet again. I also change the numbers in the problems to be high double-digit numbers so that the students would really be able to see that I was not looking for an answer. I think this helped them focus on finding the unknown instead of finding the answer.
