This Term III Integrated Literacy Lesson was co-planned with Rachel Beazley who teaches kindergarten. I taught my lesson first. My lesson took place in the library at Powel Elementary School with a group of six first grade students. We worked on identifying identifying key details from a memoir and incorporating key details into our own memoirs. The students were given the option of being authors, illustrators, or storytellers. This lesson was carried out on November 24th.
