This Term III Integrated Social Studies Lesson took place in the library at Powel Elementary School with a group of six first grade students. We worked on identifying the people, roles, and places in communities in general as well as our classroom community. We then created classroom community maps to show the people and places in Room 102. This lesson was carried out on November 19th.
